U.S. Surgeon General: Wisconsin’s positivity rates are going in the wrong direction

During a visit to Neenah, United States Surgeon General Jerome Adams cautioned that Wisconsin is a COVID-19 red state with an increasing inspiration rate.

“I need all of you to know that Wisconsin is at present one of our red states. Which means, your energy rates are over 10% and going off course. Cases are in the red, going off course,” Adams said.

Adams was in Neenah for the declaration of another COVID-19 flood testing area at ThedaCare Physicians-Neenah. The objective of the new site is to restrict the spread of the infection and distinguish individuals who might be asymptomatic.

“I came to Wisconsin since I need everybody to know, that one of the most significant things to getting this infection leveled out is realizing who has it, and 2/3 of individuals here don’t realize they had the infection, despite the fact that they’re hauling it around and passing it to one another,” Adams said.

The site has 30,000 test packs. The Wisconsin National Guard will regulate them.
