UW Medicine postpones certain non-urgent surgeries to create space for COVID-19 patients

UW Medicine says they are deferring sure non-critical medical procedures to make space for COVID-19 patients.

Susan Gregg, a representative with UW Medicine says they are just deferring medical procedures that are non-earnest however would require hospitalizations. Every individual case is being looked into and is possibly being deferred if there would be no clinical damage to the patient.

Gregg says the emergency clinic settled on the choice due to the expansion of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in the locale.
